Toronto West End Gastro Pub

Many English and Irish pubs serve mediocre food and even more mediocre beers such as Rickard’s and Keith’s. An exception is Henry VIII in Toronto’s Kingsway district. Nothing special to look at outside or in, but once you belly up to the bar you’ll notice a few dozen of Europe’s finest on tap. Each served in a distinctive glass. There’s care and pride in the kitchen department too, and in the compact wine list.

Check the website for nightly food features. All in all a fine place.
