Some find Sauvignon too herbaceous, but still enjoy the refreshing, brisk side of this grape variety. No problem – because I have a wine for you. A Sauvignonish wine, that’s crowdpleasing – and citrussy as opposed to herbaceous. It’s produced from the Verdejo grape in the Rueda region, by one of Spain’s oldest wineries. But everything about the wine is bright and modern. Including the handy screwcap.
