Salt of the Earth

salt_logoMy heading may be corny but it works for the new restaurant/tapas bar on Ossington. Excellent food, a very bold, Portuguese-only wine list and a cozy, cellar/library-like atmosphere. Great long bar at the front for aperitifs. Shades of some wonderful back-street joint you’d discover on your travels. I’ll be back for sure.

Look for a sister seafood restaurant to open next door sometime soon.

P.S. After, kick-up your evening with some hot Canadian talent at the Dakota Lounge on Ossington, just North of Dundas.
