Portugal Delivers New Bargain Red

PORTUGAL DELIVERS A NEW BARGAIN RED!
alandra-colheita-2011-tintoPortugal is challenging Italy in the bargain basement category with its own version of a “˜magnificent seven’. I really like the fresh, frank quality in Alandra, and the lighthearted drink-me feeling of the traditional European café reds. Esporao is one of Portugal’s most modern wineries so naturally you can also expect Alandra to have some of the spicy/sweet personality we’re used to in all of today’s popular wines. Worth checking-out for weeknight suppers and weekend bashes. Could be the next Fuzion!

P.S. On our recent Lisbon trip it was interesting to see how much everyone enjoyed the simple local reds we had with most lunches. Maybe Alandra will prompt you to visit Portugal with us this fall!
