redpumpBeer and wine are good mates. At least I think so.

A few good gulps of beer settles your thirst so you don’t go wild with the wine. Becks, Warsteiner and Steamwhistle, all lagers, are some of my hot weather beers but as we head into fall I’ll be switching to the more nourishing character of English-style ales. It’s new at LCBOs along with Pump House Blueberry Ale which is a bit plain. If you’re reading this in Moncton please visit the brewery and check out the Thai Wheat – brewed with ginger and lemongrass!
