MY KIND OF SPANISH RED

Spain is the current champion of blockbuster, over-the-top red wines. And of course, everyone is lapping them up they way they did with Aussie Shiraz a decade earlier. Fortunately some Spanish producers favour a more moderate style ““ wines that don’t tire the senses and palate, and which deliver with each sip, not just the first. Castano is in this style ““ without sacrificing Spain’s trademark warmhearted feeling and spicy flavours. Lamb and rosemary come to mind with all Spanish reds, but this guy is equally good with any red or white meat, and most other foods from burger to lasagna.
