Aussie Still Offering Value

Posted by on

HardysCabMerlotThe South Americans have replaced Australia as most people’s choice for value in easy drinking reds. But I just an Aussie that should hold on to some fans. It’s part of the great value ‘Stamp’ series by Hardys and comes in both regular and magnum size.

Hardys Shiraz/Cabernet ‘Stamp’ is so soft and cuddly it almost purrs. A big show of flavour, spicy/sweetness and ‘like me’ quality. Tawny port-like flavours add to its appeal for fall and winter drinking. A must try for fans of hot and spicy foods such as Cajun, Jerk or Tex Mex. It’s also sure to be a party favourite.

Hardys 08 Shiraz/Cabernet ‘Stamp’, Australia 338012 $10.95 (also in 1500ml $19.95)

I take it that “litre” here (at the bottom where the prices are) is a mistake & that “magnum” (in the body of the article) is correct, i.e. a litre & a half.
