A PG with Some Personality!

HERE’S A PINOT GRIGIO WITH SOME PERSONALITY!

Most Pinot Grigio works along the same lines at Coors Lite – flavourless, mindless refreshment. Masi’s wine, however, offers flavor and body thanks to semi-drying the grapes. Just lightly – not the full Appassimento used in the making of Amarone. The addition of the Verduzzo grape also contributes to some texture in the wine. The upshot of all this is a medium-bodied white that works well for aperitif, and with lighter foods.

MASI 16 ‘Masianco’, Pinot Grigio & Verduzzo, Veneto, Italy 620773 $16.95 ($14.95 until the end of May)
